The Aosta Ring Road Toll Exemption (SAV free toll between Aosta Est and Aosta Ovest) is valid exclusively between the Aosta Ovest toll station (RAV) and the Aosta Est toll station (SAV).
The toll exemption, valid for all vehicle categories, applies only to routes that start and end at the “open system” highway junctions of Aosta Est and Aosta Ovest Saint-Pierre, and vice versa. It does not apply to routes that start or end at junctions located before or after this section, nor to longer routes that are artificially divided by exiting and re-entering the highway.
The free toll will not be applied unless at least 30 minutes have passed between exiting at the Aosta Gran San Bernardo station and re-entering at the Aosta Est station (or vice versa). Additionally, the exemption will not apply if more than one hour has elapsed between entering at Aosta Est and exiting at Aosta Ovest Saint-Pierre (or vice versa).
In the event of temporary unavailability of the Aosta Est and/or Aosta Ovest Saint-Pierre toll stations due to force majeure (e.g., accidents, forced closures, natural events), the companies reserve the right to decide whether to grant the free toll benefit for the affected transits.
